Heat Transfer Tubes
E – TUBE
E-TUBE is a heat transfer tube that absorbs heat from a fluid on its outer surface to allow the refrigerant to evaporate, and it is fundamentally different from a fin tube that merely increases the surface area. It has excellent thermal conductivity due to the formation of fins with an ideal shape that induces evaporation on the surface of the heat transfer tube. There is a ridge formed in a spiral shape on the inner side of the heat transfer tube, which increases the resistance of the cold water flowing through the inner axis of the tube and creates turbulence in the flow of the cold water, thereby improving heat transfer performance.
Technical Specifications
- The tube outer diameter range is 12.7mm to 25.4mm, and the commonly used outer diameters are 15.88mm and 19.05mm.
- Tube material thicknesses can be processed from 0.9mm to 1.85mm, and the material thickness can be selected upon customer request.
- Fin Density can be processed at 40 fins/inch, 50 fins/inch, and 53 fins/inch.
- The inner side of the heat transfer tube has a ridge section formed in a spiral shape, and the number of internal ridges commonly used is 30, 38, or 52.
- The materials generally used are copper (C1220) and cupronickel (C7060).
